BALLS are basically one of the fundamental shapes on earth, and life cannot be thought without them.
Balls can be manufactured from all kinds of material. Even nature displays spherical forms in a tremendous variation. Some outstanding samples are on display in our Ball Museum.
In particular, by using a typical day in our life as an example, we would like to demonstrate the general importance of Balls:
- Starting in the morning, when going to the bathroom, we will probably make use of the following: a deodorant roller is made with a plastic ball, a parfume flacone, a stainless steel ball is used for the valve to activate the pumping-function, using the hairspray, it needs balls to mix up the solution.
- The morning paper is printed by using powder, which has previously been milled by balls inside a ball mill.
- The cocoa drink is mixed with cocoa powder, which had initially been milled by help of balls.
- The kitchen drawers, which are being moved a hundred times a day are equipped with ball slides.
- Vehicles and bicycles used for getting to school or work are equipped with ball components such as bearings, seats, safety belts and lockers.
